Once Upon a Fight
Once Upon a Fight is the two-act performance exploring what twinhood can hold in a hyper-individualized world.
By bringing everyday arguments to the theater stage, two identical characters swap roles to examine the boundaries of the self,
and whether it is actually possible to win an argument with oneself. Through exhausting play, conflict, and improvisation -
such as going off script and leaving the stage - the work merges real-life twin experiences with the fictional
structure of a performance. As stage directions are read and performed out loud - such as [holding hand in armpit] or [staring in disbelief] - the characters writes, edits and
and rehearses the script in real-time.
